My little one has been waiting for this day since she first walked her sister to preschool just 3 years ago. (Please excuse the “creative blur” in the 2nd photo below. It seems that SOMEONE’s eyes welled up while shooting! Alas, you only get one of these moments…ah well.) I distinctly remember when we made the decision to put D in preschool just a bit early so I could spend a little quiet time with T. Little did I know she would soak it up so quickly by the time it was her turn, she was beyond ready to go. I am sure many parents tell stories of how brilliant their children are, but on this page I get to rave about her. She is brilliant…quick-witted, hysterical, loving, affectionate with a sparkle in her dark brown eyes that shine just when she’s about to say the most amazing thing. She has the best laugh and a passionate cry that I love so much because you know it comes from her gut. She admires her sister and is her biggest cheerleader, but she won’t hesitate to tell you how different they actually are. (In fact, that word “actually” is one of her favorite words at the moment.) The laughter and chatting we hear just before our two girls pass out at night gives us so much joy WE pinch ourselves in disbelief at how blessed and lucky we are. She’s ready world…hear her ROAR!
