Halloween is tomorrow and I am sure many of you have a favorite holiday that you love to decorate for! Since we have been hosting a small Halloween gathering at our home before we start trick-or-treating the past couple of years, I do a little more decorating than I used to BC (Before Children, that is…). I used to keep the pumpkins I bought for Halloween all the way through November for Thanksgiving decorations, but now we carve ’em up a few days before.
I thought I would call today’s Pic Tip Step-by-Step because while it’s great to take photos of the finished product, in this case a Jack-O-Lantern, I’d love to show my girls someday how we did it. My husband has been deemed the expert by our girls at carving the pumpkins so I captured him while they watched closely. It might be helpful to write down each step to the finished product so you don’t miss the opportunity to take the photo. This might be something you try tonight while carving your pumpkins or maybe the steps you take when putting up your Christmas tree this year. In the end, you’ll have a wonderful collection of memories of how you transform your home for the holidays! Enjoy and have a safe Halloween!
